Blue Danube Violins offers its customers the opportunity to custom-order an instrument or bow. Perhaps you would like a copy of a particular Stradivari or other great maker's pattern.

There are a number of things customers may specify: the pattern used, the instrument's or bow's dimensions, one or two-piece back, type of woods or other materials used (and their origins), type and quality of fittings, varnish composition and coloration, etc. Please inquire about the possibilities. Generally it will take a maker 3-18 months to complete an instrument or bow to your specifications, depending on their other orders.

Blue Danube Violins will work closely with you and the maker through all stages to satisfy everyone concerned -from conception, through your instrument's completion and fine tuning during the first year or two of its life- all this at no additional cost to you. Of course, you may also select a new or older instrument from our collection.
