The first nine (9) qualified conductors who send their materials, the application fee (non-refundable 50 EUR), and deposit (refundable fee of 500 EUR), will be eligible for an invitation. Acceptance is based on training, experience, and suitability for this Mastercourse. The deposit will be refunded to conductors not found suitable for the course. The balance of the course fee (2 000 EUR) will be due on the first day of the Mastercourse in cash and in EUR only, please. NB…the deposit will not be returned to conductors who cancel for any reason after 5 March 2008. Videotape of recent conducting (opera preferred, but not mandatory) that includes rehearsal and performance footage, if possible. NTSC, PAL, DVD, CD-ROM formats are all acceptable. NB...conductors who have participated in past event produced by BDMI do not have to send this tape. 3. Application fee (non-refundable) and deposit (refundable)...total of 550 EUR.
