Subway straps are standard on everything but the
economy line: 1001, 1002L4, 1002L8 and 1007 cases.
Rainflaps come standard on all of the velvet
and silk-lined cases, along with leather handles.
Velour (the least expensive)
has a flat finish with no sheen, and resembles flannel
pajama material.
Velvet (considered moderately
expensive) is richer in color, with an elegant sheen
and resembles a lady's evening gown.
Silk the most expensive) has a kidney-embossed
pattern, and a very soft hand with an elegant sheen,
and resembles footprints on a velvet fabric.
Replacement covers are available for Bobelock cases in
most colors. When ordering, please note the number
of bow holders, whether or not the case is suspension
or non-suspension, the case model, and color needed.
Suspension cases have pads under the neck button and
bottom of the instrument, lifting them off the bottom
of the case about 1/4". This provides additional
protection for the back of the instrument.
