This instrument features a well-dyed French red varnish, French style pegs, a ribbed endpin, Aubert bridge and Synthacore strings from Germany. Stradivari pattern. Well-flamed neck, back and sides. This instruments's quality is much higher than is common for products of such grade. Its smart chestnut-brown varnish is lightly shaded with accessories made from selected and finely polished ebony decorated with a Parisian eye. The SPOHR Model is fitted with Thomastik Dominant strings and an Aubert bridge with v-shaped ebony insert. In addition, it features a beautifully flamed back, sides, neck and a selected and resonant spruce top. The varnish of the instrument looks and feels "warmer" and less like a workshop instrument. Stradivari pattern. Made in Czech Republic with German materials.
WIENIAWSKI Student Violins

Very similar to the Spohr model but with production and technology that is applied to more expensive instruments using a higher quality of material. It featured an "antiqued" varnish favored by many players, has the look of an instrument that is several hundred years old. Stradivari pattern. Made in the Czech Republic with German materials.

One of our finest instruments in this price range, the Leopold Mozart model is handmade by a small team of violin makers in Kazanlak, Bulgaria -- the traditional center of Bulgarian violin making. The instrument is then varnished and set-up and adjusted by a virtuoso violinist in Sofia, Bulgaria. Seasoned and select wood from the Balkan mountains; beautiful golden-brown varnish over a yellow ground, ebony fittings; Superieur Despiau bridge from France…two-piece back. The corpus is 356 mm. Made in 2010 expressly for Blue Danube Violins.
