OLD ITALIAN VIOLIN
Old Italian violin, according to its certificate, made at the beginning of the 19th century in Northern Italy, probably in the region of Emilia Romagna. Labeled ‘Guidantus’. Two-piece maple back. Sides and scroll of similar wood. Wide-grained pine wood top. Dark-reddish varnish over a lighter ground.

Middle bout – 108 mm
Lower bout – 203 mm
