Handmade student violins.  Back, as well as ribs and neck from carefully selected, kiln-dried Carpathian maple. Mature Alpine spruce top. Selected ebony fittings (fingerboard, pegs and chin rest). Aubert bridge to enhance the high sound quality of the instrument. Wittner tailpiece with integrated fine tuners for each string, thus offering easier tuning for less experienced players.

Dark red-brown varnish, with an old-Schönbach-style varnish. Selected parts of the varnish are washed and slightly patinated, giving the violins the appearance of an older, yet  well-maintained instrument.

Alphayue Thomastik-Infeld strings, whose synthetic core ensures fast bowing response and stable tuning.  Students will also appreciate the string’s easy playability and softness, while maintaining sonority and richness of tone.

The Junior Superior violin model series continues the three hundred year old tradition of making instruments in the West Bohemia region. The violin varnish is inspired by local tradition and the typical aesthetics of local instruments.
