Viola by Ulrike Glinsböckel made in 2021. Andrea Guarneri Conte Vitale 1676 model – the original body has two very different not symmetrical halves. The model was reconstructed based on a method of master Jürgen von Stietencron. Body length – 41,5 cm; upper bout – 196 mm; middle bout – 129mm; lower bout – 242mm. Lightweight spruce top from 2001 from Latemar. Back, ribs and scroll made out of very lightweight ten year old Bosnian maple. Top is 18 mm high; back – 16,8 mm with purflings of colored maple. Oil varnish on a albumin ground.
